Pigeons In Paris

These are a few shots i took whilst in Paris recently. I sat under the Eiffel Tower eating a ropey sandwich, which i decided was better left for the pigeons. They agreed.

Fort Cochin, India

I've just been cleaning up some shots from my travels in India. I spent a few days in Fort Cochin, Kerala which turned out to be very different to what I was expecting. In general the area was quite expensive (for Indian standards), and very touristy. I ended up spending most of my time there hunting out cheap local eateries, drinking beer decanted from a teapot, and spent each evening at the harbour photographing the fishermen around the Chinese fishing nets which line the water front.

Milton Keynes

For 6 months in the last year i've been living and working in Milton Keynes shooting room sets. Milton Keynes is one of the strangest places i've ever been. One bonus is that its ace for skating, so a few friends came to visit while the Matix team were in town for a days skating.

Mallorca 09

At the start of April i went back to Mallorca for another skate trip. The crew was me, Paul Webster, Michael Mcmaster, Sheldon Andrews and Scott Roberts. Tricks were landed, beer was drank, ankles were ruined and laughs were had by all. Here's a few shots;

Exhibition

This month sees the opening of a photography exhibition at North bar in Leeds, based around the theme of local music. A few of my shots will be up there, along with 4 other local music photographers, including my good friends George Coppock, and Tom Martin. If you get chance then go check it out. The opening night is this Sunday 24th May. For more information go to http://www.millcreatives.org/news.html Bonus points for anyone who spots the obvious mistake!

Kambala

After a stint of freelance studio photography, working in the industrial estates of Milton Keynes, I decided to take a break over xmas and new year, spending 2 months backpacking round south India with my Mamiya 645 and a load of film. One of the highlights of my trip was spent watching kambala (buffalo racing) in a little village called Miyar in Karnataka.
Here's a few shots from the day
